This Friday, 8th May is the 75th anniversary of VE Day.  With all public events cancelled there’s still plenty of ways you can take part:

  • A two minute silence at 11am on Friday morning,
  • A live-stream event from the British Legion website at 11.15am,
  • A national singalong with Dame Vera Lynn at 9pm,
  • Check ‘Teams’ for instructions on how to create and submit a ‘note of thanksgiving’ for the World War Two generation.
