Applied Science BTEC - Prestatyn Sixth

Qualification type: Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma
The course will enable you to develop the practical techniques necessary to pursue a career in the science industry. You will study the fundamentals of science, regulations and application used in the work of the science industry and you will complete scientific investigations. Topics studied also include Microbiology, Medical Physics and the Physiology of Human Body Systems.
The BTEC qualifications in this specification have been developed in the science sector to give learners the opportunity to develop a range of skills and techniques, personal skills and attributes essential for successful performance in working life.
