A-level, results day 2025

Students and staff at Prestatyn High School are celebrating today after receiving an exceptional set of A-level results, marking yet another year of excellent academic and personal achievements for the students.

The A-level results for the class of 2025 have seen the overall pass rate consistently increase year on year.

PHS students have achieved their potential and can now continue on to their University of choice or employment.  This reflects a real dedication, commitment and support from their teachers and families.

Sian Reed, Head of Prestatyn High Sixth Form said,

“I am incredibly proud of our students and the grades they have worked so hard to achieve”.

Mr Foley, Headteacher was absolutely delighted with the improved results and said:

This year has seen an increase in performance once again. Our students have achieved at the highest level with 21% of all A levels being awarded A or A*. This is truly outstanding. These results can only be achieved if all students and staff give their best every day. I am so proud of our school community and how we raise the bar every year.

High standards in all areas of education have ensured that the class of 2025 reached their potential.

They are a credit to the school, their families but most of all to themselves. They have done the hard work and now can go on and achieve their dreams.

Our top A level and BTEC performers were – Kristina Frimston A*A*Distinction*B; Lacey Nelson A*A*AB; Rosie McLellan A*ABC; Sofia Jones AAAA; Daniel Hannah AAA; Seth Morris AAA; Mischa Houldsworth AAAB; Austin Jones AABB; Sophie Edwards AABC.
