Joining Prestatyn High will guarantee an excellent education, the highest standards, and outcomes that will enable your son or daughter to move on to the next stage of their academic life with the right skills, qualifications, and attitudes. We are determined to improve the life chances of all young people in the Prestatyn area and beyond. We are exceptionally proud of our pupils and staff, and of the amazing results we achieve. These outcomes reinforce our belief that what we do every day is the right thing, and that the high standards we set are making a real impact.
The Prestatyn High School building is also on a continuous path of renovation and improvement — from brand new science labs and large-scale classroom refurbishments to state-of-the art sports facilities. Most areas of the school are now renewed so that we can give all our learners the best educational experience possible. These changes are another step in our journey towards excellence. We are improving every aspect of the school, putting the pieces in place to make our community a beacon of learning and achievement. These developments, along with our outstanding school uniform, have allowed us to transform Prestatyn High further, raising aspirations and expectations of what is possible. The future is very bright for all learners at our great school.
"We are determined to improve the life chances of all young people in the Prestatyn area and beyond".
I am honoured to be the Headteacher of such a vibrant and successful community.
When we were last visited by Estyn, the feedback we received was fantastic. We were delighted with the outcome, which further encourages us in our mission to improve the life chances of every learner who attends Prestatyn High School. I encourage all prospective parents and carers to read the inspection report to see how highly Estyn regard the work we do with our learners. The staff here at Prestatyn High work tirelessly to ensure pupils enjoy their time at school, work hard, and achieve excellent outcomes. In an ever-changing education landscape, our focus remains firmly on improving the quality of teaching, learning, assessment, personal development, behaviour, and welfare for all young people. This first-class education provides them with the knowledge to succeed in examinations, while also developing lifelong skills that prepare them for the future.
At Prestatyn High, we embed literacy, numeracy, and IT skills in everything we do, ensuring that all pupils are ready to make their way in the world. We strive to ensure that all pupils, whatever their starting point or background, make rapid and sustained progress. The broad curriculum we offer empowers learners to succeed and achieve the very best academic qualifications. The opportunities available to our learners are as numerous as they are varied, with multiple trips abroad taking place every year. Our sporting teams excel, while our theatrical performances continue to inspire and impress.
I would be delighted if you could become part of our success. Further information is available on our website: www.prestatynhigh.co.uk If you would like to visit the school, please phone to make an appointment.
