Y8 Parents’ Evening – 15th May

Dear parents/carers

Year 8 Parents’ Evening – Tuesday 15th May – 4.00 to 6.30pm

I very much hope you will be able to attend, as it is a valuable opportunity for us to discuss how your child is progressing at Prestatyn High.

In order to reduce queuing, an appointment system will operate for each separate teacher. Your child has been given a sheet listing their teachers’ names, with a space alongside for appointment times to be noted. Please discuss with your son/daughter, which teachers you wish to see, so your child can book appointment slots with those teachers.

Should any teacher specifically wish to see you on Parents’ Evening, they will also make an appointment on the sheet. Please make every effort to see those teachers, in particular. Please ensure your child sees their teachers as soon as possible, as the appointment slots will be filled very quickly.

May I take this opportunity to thank you for your support in this process. We are aiming to ensure that as many parents as possible are seen during Parents’ Evening. If you have any questions about this or other aspects of school life, please contact you son/daughter’s Head of Year.

Finally, whilst I accept that parking provision at the school is limited; in view of recent complaints, can I please ask that you do not park your vehicles:
a) across local residents’ driveways
b) in the disabled spaces adjacent to the leisure centre; which are reserved specifically for their disabled customers.

If you have any specific enquiries please contact your son’s/daughter’s Head of Year.
